Borderline, 2020
video, stereo sound
Duration: 4 minutes and 23 seconds
Filmed before the pandemic outbreak in Belgium, Borderline follows a woman who’s been secluded due to sickness. Tree trunks become human legs and scenes of untamed nature sprouting in ruins become adjacent to a confined clinical setting. By visualising these worlds as co-dependent and combined, Borderline reflects on how these connections can provide solace and healing.
