Where I Learn to Breathe: Polaroids (2022)
The first stages of Elise’s work happen outdoors, often in remote environments. During this period of research, she makes use of analogue photography for its slower process, which allows her to sense ecosystems on a deeper level. These polaroids were taken while location scouting for Where I Learn to Breathe.
